Another NYC Thread - Accommodations for 5

Another vote for one of the Affinia hotels. We like the Affinia Dumont in the Herald Square area. The kitchenette adds value because we're able to stock up for breakfasts and drinks in the room.

I know a few Aussie families with 5 plus that recommend the Salisbury Hotel - walking distance to central park, times square and a train station. We are booked in there over Christmas and have a 35% off rate of $181 plus taxes/fees. I suspect it is only for non peak times though.
HTH, it hurt my head trying to find suitable (and affordable) accommodation for us in NYC.
