Hi everyone!! My name is Ashlee, I'm new and totally overwhelmed!

I am hoping to take my family of 4 to Disney World in October. I have two kids who will be 4 and 6 at the time. My sister will also be going with and her daughter will be 8 and her step daughter will be 14. So there will be 7 of us in total and we would like to get one of the Villas to stay in. I've been poking around Disney's site and found the Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs and fell in love! Something that size would work best for us so we won't be on top of eachother during down time. LoL! So if there is another resort I haven't looked at with something similar suggestions would be great.

From what I figured out we are looking at about $8,000 for all of us combined including the your way plus dinning package. We decided to pass on the park hopper tickets.

My husband has made it clear that he wants to spend as little as possible so any money saving tips would be great!

if your hubby wants to do it cheaper yo ucan split your party into 2 rooms at any value or mod and come out alot cheaper than the villas.

Also keep an eye on waltdisneyworld.com special offers tab, nothing has been released to the public for October yet but if something does come out it will be listed there.

I've spent the last day doing a whole lot of price matching and hotel checking... I think I've changed my mind about staying on site and driving! LoL! Now that we have a date set in stone it's time to start getting serious!

We are a large family and we always get 2 connecting rooms at a value resort and we also try to revolve all of our annual trips around free dining dates. Depending on your dates, there will most likely be a free dining offer for October. There has been a free dining offer in October for the last 3 years, but I think Columbus Day/Week was blacked out. We can usually do 8 nights with 2 connecting rooms at a value resort, 7 day tickets and the Disney Dining Plan (free discount) for about $3,200.00.
