Just wanted to give a big, no a HUGE thanks to all you DIS'ers that have helped me out with info and questions and to let you know that we just got off the phone from buying at AKV. We are so excited. We actually are using the developer points they gave us for a trip we have booked at SSR this January. We had 2 -2 bedroom villas reserved at $600+ per night per room and now we are using our "free" points. We had decided to take my sister and her 4 small kids as a Christmas present. They were here visiting us in Texas this summer when we got a call from their daddy back in Idaho - he was not feeling well. Turned out he was having a heart attack. He passed away about an hour later. He was 37. Now she is 35 and a widow with 4 small kids. This trip obviously won't bring their daddy back - but it is going to help bring a little magic into their lives. We are so excited to do this and be able to give them some magic for many years to come.
