Another Newbie... VERY Confused!

Thanks for the post northwestmom. We'll be there at the beginning of July for 8 nites. Like you, I'm really, REALLY excited about going! I understand what you mean about feeling overwhelmed about all of the info. There is a tremendous amount; and of course as mother's, we want to try our best to make sure everyone has an awsome time! I've been researching WDW since the first of the year, although I'm glad I did, I think that it just eventually gets to that point where you have to see and experience it for yourself.

It is so easy to get overwhelmed. I tend to research everything to death, too. We are going to be there 5/9-16. We fly out 7 weeks from today! The countdown is on and I am SOOO excited. Keep me posted on your trip, too... ok?

Sorry about the confusion....or the name change that I gave the Spirit of Aloha.....I called it the Luau....anywho....we went to the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at the Poly in 20033.....it was Fantastic!! The show was great....the food was good and plentiful....the servers were very attentive...I really don't think I have a bad thing to say about it....other than the ride back to the All Star Resort.....it seemed to take forever....and it was really late and we were really tired!! But hey....what do you expect in WDW!! I think you need a vacation after your vacation!! There is so much to see and do.....its actually tiring!! LOL!! Hope you have a great time at the show!

I research everything too! Drives my DH CRAZY! Oh well... So how long is your flight? We're flying in from CO. The kids and I are already counting the days down; we're all so excited. I hope you guys really enjoy yourselves!

So it sounds like we made a good decision on the Spirit of Aloha show. My DH picked that one, we're really looking forward to it. Saratoga Springs looks like it is an absolutely beautiful resort! Hopefully, if we go back for a 2nd trip, we'll stay there! Have great time, you're getting really close to your vaca!

I love the excitement in here!!

For research on all things, menus, pictures of resorts (ie accomadations) check out www.allearsnet.com (definately for the research crowd!!)

For research on opinions on dining places look at the top line of this site a dark line with white words "User CP > FAQ> etc... click "Search" type in Spirit of Aloha and boy will you get opinions!!

So dont forget for every positive experience, there is a negative... and negative experiences are based on so many subjective opinions - but it does help with the research imho!! (and also many more post negative comments than positive ones... or so I've noticed!!)
