Hi, all. We'll be staying in LA from 12/29/09 to 1/2/10 and will be on a chartered flight to the Rose Bowl. Four adults and my seven-year-old DD will be visiting. It will be my DD's first visit to a Disney park of any kind. We won't have much time in California, and had hoped to visit DLR on 12/30 and 12/31. But now I'm reading that NYE is the busiest day of the year and that the crowds can be scary. No one in our party handles that type of atmosphere particularly well.
So, here's my question, if you were in our shoes, would you:
1. do a one-day pass for the 12/30 and see whatever you could in just one day?
2. do a two-day pass and focus only on CA on 12/31?
3. come up with another plan that I'm not thinking of (keeping in mind that we 12/30 and 12/31 are the ONLY days we can visit).
One additional note ~ we would only be staying at the park until late afternoon on 12/31. We have another commitment related to the Rose Bowl at our LA hotel on NYE.
Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide. Our trip was just confirmed a week ago, and now I'm scrambling to figure out how to plan! (insert crazed smilies here).
