Another movie question - animated Dads

Why does Disney not have dads in the animated movies?
No dad in toy story, bolt, and I know there are others I'm not thinking of right now.

Are dads too hard to animate, lol?

Rapunzel's father who probably has a name, but I can't come up with it at the moment

I have always thought there were more dads in Disney movies than moms.

Don't forget Pongo! I think the previous posters (Hi, Carol!) are correct - there are more dads than moms in Disney films. They're not always great dads (I'm thinking of Cinderella and Snow, in particular), but they're there.
