another MNSSHP thread...hehe lot's of ?'s

ok, first we will be in the world oct 24(arriving at like 6 in the morning)-oct 30(leaving mid afternoon)...at first we weren't going to shell out the extra cash to go to the party, but have since decided to go. so, looking at the dates available while we are there, it is oct 25, 26, and 28. I already have my ADR and on the 25th we are already going to be in MK for dinner, so we decided that even though the discounted night would be sunday, we would go thursday. there is 6 of us...me, dh, dsd(13), ds(6), ds(4), ds(almost 9 mon)

Ok, so here it goes...
1) Our ADR is for Crystal palace that night (adr's were made before the decision to go to MNSSHP) at 6:50. 7 is when the party starts...what are we missing? Is it worth just cancelling the ADR and doing dinner say at the hotel before we leave for the party? Or do we just keep our adr and miss the beginning? I don't know what to do about this. I don't want to miss any of the "magic", cuz that is what i'm paying for!

2) Is this going to be too hard on my 8(almost 9) month old? Is sleeping in the stroller even going to happen with all the noise, and such?

3)My 6 yo is going to be a NINJA and i was wondering if the costume is going to be too hot for him at that time of year. In UT, we have to wear really warm costumes, cuz lots of times, there is snow on the ground at halloween. And do we even bother with the plastic swords?

4) those of you that have been already this year...how was it? the candy any good? The weather? is it cooler in the evening and how cool? How cool is it going to be when we are there? Are the crowds better on Thursday nights, than on friday nights?

Ok I will try to help you

1-I would cancel the ADR or eat earlier...get every bit of your monies worth

2- Haven't had a youngun' that age in 32 yrs so have NO clue if the baby will sleep ...can't remember

3-Candy last year was great, plenty of chocolate to be found

4-Your Ninja will be fine, I went to my first MNSSHP last year in a homemade fuzzy material Mrs Potato had & was comfortable, this year I'm going with a Winnie-the-Pooh costume from the disney shopping website, planning to dress very lightly underneath it

5-Have a Blast, better buy those tickets F A S T ! I would think

I'd do the party another night or get an earlier ADR. Kids are going to get tired, and you probably won't finish at CP until after 8, so you are missing an hour of primo time...I'd eat like at 5 if you could and arrive at MK at 6 or 6:30. You won't be missing parades or anything but it'll be cutting into your night.
