another MM/fantasmic question

a number have posted about slow service and 2 hr long meals at MM..I have a 4pm ps and if fantasmic happens to be at 6 instead of like the CM guessed,6:30, I am guessing we will probably not be there by 5:30 ( or a good chance at least given we half to pretty much walk the whole way across the park) now since this is disney's idea, if you are there late cause of the restaurant you have to use (one at least if you want to get the pass for the show.)..will they let you go another night or something? do they give any non pass holders the seat you are supposed to have the pass for if you are late( I know it is not a particular seat but the spot for you I mean) ? anyone run into this ? or am I just obsessing....I mean if I could potentially miss the show because of the "time saving"m/mfpk I would rather save the $75, eat a hot dog and get there early and not miss it.

We've had our dinners at the Brown Derby run over and we've never had a problem getting a seat in the reserved section. The cast member will let you through, even if you get there after the time printed on the pass. When you enter MGM double check Fantasmic's time - it rarely changes once the hours are posted on Disneyworld.com, so I wouldn't worry about that. Have a great time!

Thanks, I just changed my time to 3 !( lunch soI can use the lunch voucher anyway) and I 'll either go wait in line or keep checking back to see how long the line is closer to time. rather do that than have to feel panicy all through dinner.

On our last trip I was sitting in the back row of the reserved section b/c I need a wheelchair in the parks. When they let the SRO crowd in, the CMs consistently came & removed people who were trying to move into the empty seats around me. (I have to admit that I appreciated it b/c people were literally climbing OVER me to get to seats. ) They continued to remove the people until about halfway through the show & then stopped.
