ANother Mickey Fan needs some Pixie Dust - Peggie

Peggie has been having some problems with her computer, and I have not been able to chat with her lately, but I know she is going thru a very difficult time. Her Father is very sick and needs all our prayers and a little bit of magic and some Pixie dust would not hurt either.

This is a difficult time of year to go thru an illness and I hope that we will all let Peggie know that our thoughts are with her.

You might want to PM her, as I am not sure she can read this.

I agree Darlene - i spoke with her last night. Her dad is quite ill and this is a stressful time for her entire family. Please include her and the family in your prayers. As someone who often brings joy into the lives of many others, she could use your support !!I do believe that she can get to the boards but can't access her aol email. Caroline

Thank you Darlene and Caroline for letting everyone know.
I thought that losing my mom two years ago was the hardest thing that I could possibly go through with my parents, until yesterday.
The Diagnosis is not good. All I can do is hope for more time to show my dad how much he means to me.
I was planning on bringing him to FL in March during Spring Break, but I don't think we will have that time together. So I changed my plans for my next trip and he will be driving down with my boys on Jan 3rd to spend some time with us at my happy place. He will not know the biopsy results until we arrive home. I know how much he enjoys WDW so I want him to have some enjoyment before the worst begins.
His favorite ride is Ellen's Energy Adventure so you might be able to find me there from Jan 4th to the 9th.
Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement, I can always count on my best friends to be there when I need you all. Be ready for me to dump on you all, I might need some good ears for a while. Peggie
PS, The computer is working a little, I have AOL4.0 now. It won't let me download anything else. I also can read the boards in work but can't get on aol. so I am getting all the PM's you are sending me.

Dearest Peggie,

I will be praying hard that your dad's biopsy comes back on a more positive note. This is a difficult time of the year to go thru something like this. And my heart aches for you. I pray God grace and mercy will be all sufficient for your every need.

I remember clearly how difficult it was last year when daddy passed (dec.5). It was difficult, although I was still a bit numb to it at Christmas last year. I am finding it harder this year as the reality of him no longer with us has set in.

Then having to go thru my mom's illness right after and getting her well enough to come home and take care of herself. It is not easy being your parents care giver. I think of Michele who goes thru much the same with her dad. It is tough.

But having her too talk to and vent means so very much, as she understands the difficulties and challenges. Friendships and family become so very dear during these times.

Please know that we are here for you, to lend an ear and a shoulder to rest on and shed a tear. You are cared for much by your pin pals!
