Another ME question

I have read a ton about ME and thank you all for the help. I don't know if I have missed the answer to this or if it has not been asked, I apologize if I duplicate.

We have a 7:15 reservation at HDDR on the evening of our arrival. What if our flight lands later than anticipated? Assuming there is a bus to FW would we be able to tell the desk that that is our destination and go directly there if that is all time allows as opposed to going to our own resort? I know our bags will get there whenever and I know we would be stuck with our carry ons with us but just wondering if it is a worst case scenario possibility?

We're in a similar situation. Some of our family is arriving earlier than us and can take care of the check-in stuff. I would love to just bypass my resort and go straight to the Contemporary and walk over to Magic Kingdom.
I havn't tried it, but really want to. From what I understand though, from posters on this board, that Magical Express will only take you to YOUR resort.

Sorry guys but to the best of my knowledge, you have to go to your resort first. I would do that, check-in, and then just take a cab over to HDDR. Otherwise you'll have to go to MK and then get a boat over, and that will take awhile.
Each time I have used DME, I have been at the resort, checking in, within 70-75 minutes of deplaning. I would allow 90 minutes in your planning, just to be on the safe side.
