Another major snow storm for New England

Here we go again! Just watch our local news here in Connecticut and in Eastern CT. they are predicting 10 to 15 inches and if the storm takes a different track the amount MAY double!!
I've been lucky with the past storms and have been home from work but not this time. I go in tomorrow at 07:30 for my 24 hour shift and will be leaving, hopefully Wednesday morning and it should be a fun ride home.
The only hope is one of the guys comes in on Tuesday night so they don't have to drive in in the morning just keeping my fingers crossed.
If not told my wife I'll see her in the Spring...

It's starting to remind me of the winter before we moved to NC. I was living in RI and I believe we had 23 show storms that year. It was 93/94 what a winter that was.

Best advice, sip Baileys and Coffee while shoveling. Makes it a lot easier.

I just got my driveway cleared out from yesterday! I do not want 10 - 30 inches of snow!!!

I live in a town that was hard hit by the last storm. Another Nor'Easter could take out more sea wall and homes. As it is we have large piles of debris and sand on our main street.

When you look at the weather map and see the line between snow and wintery mix in MA, that is where I am. Unfortunately the amount of snow doesn't matter as much as the wind and driving sleet. That does real damage my way.

Fireman 17, my BIL is a police officer here in MA. Last storm he was sweating it out if he would be forced but enough officers volunteered so he got to leave. Hopefully this storm will be the same.

For us, it's just a "snow happens" thing. We'll worry about Wednesday on Wednesday; we're always prepared for big snowstorms.

For once a snow storm falls on my days off. I love a blizzard fromthe confort of my own home.

Last storm I trudged through 10 inches while everyone else got to be snug at home. Arielle22 I know how your BIL feels, getting held over stinks.

Call me crazy but I hope so. I love snow & the last 2 storms, well 3 if you count this weekend as 2 storms have been less then they predicted.

I am dying to make a snow man with my kids but we haven't had that snow yet.

I live in the Old Saybrook area (not in that town but in that area/that side of the river).

Looks like this one is going to stay east and south of us - which puts it over your way.. This last storm didn't turn out to be nearly as bad as expected here - I think we had a max of 8 inches and some of it has already started to melt..

It's supposed to be very cold and windy tomorrow - and of course we have to go out for my eye dr. appointment.. Ugh! I'd rather have the snow than that bone-chilling wind that cuts right through you..

Hope you don't get it as bad as they're saying.. Still time for it to "fizzle"..
