We started today out at the Magic Kingdom. We were going to buy our friend some Mickey ears. As we walked past Exposition Hall Peter Pan and Wendy came running out and over to the girls. They were so excited! We got pictures and autographs. After they walked away Alice in Wonderland came over to give each of the girls morning kisses. They were all so very nice. A wonderful way to start the day.

We were hoping to see our friend working in the hat shop but she wasn't there. This is the first trip that we haven't seen her. We decided to head right over to Buzz Lightyear. No wait at all. The CM asked if we would like to ride again. Of course we did! We took some great pictures in there.

Mike has always wanted to take the girls on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. We had never tried it with them since there was no way to get their wheelchairs up there. It was challenging but so worth it. Mike carried Mary Elizabeth up the escalator ramp. I had Marlee Anne strapped on and carried Michala. The girls loved seeing the park from up there. The quick turns made them laugh. It was so much fun!

Next we saw Mickey's Philharmagic again. It was still very good. I did notice this time that it would be a little better if the seats inclined more like stadium seating. Some children in front of us stood in their seats. I didn't mind at all not being able to see it since I had already seen it but it blocked the girls view completely.

We rode the riverboat next. This was the first time we had ever done that. We really enjoyed the nice leisurely ride. Some great picture ops from there too. As soon as we got off there we headed to Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. It was so good! We split a very good salad and the pot roast. We split all that so we would have room for dessert. We chose the pound cake. It was so good! I wasn't crazy about the nuts but Mike loved them. I loved the warm pound cake with the caramel on it. So good!!! After that I was so full I needed a nap. LOL!!!

On our way out we stopped by the Goofy statue and took pictures. We decided to go over to Epcot for a little while. We were going to take the monorail. Mike said he wondered if they would let us put the girls wheelchairs in the car behind us and let us ride up front. You never know if you don't ask. Right? Well we asked and of course Disney said yes. It was a dream come true! That was just the neatest thing. I am so glad we asked. We got some great pictures and shared a very special moment with the girls. It was so amazing to see the world from that view. The girls got drivers licenses when we got off. The driver was super nice and helped us with the girls wheelchairs.

We went to The Land and the girls and I sat in The Garden while Mike went on the greenhouse tour. It was so much fun to sit and spend some time with the girls and people watch. Mike really enjoyed the tour but now would like to go on the big tour.

We left there and headed over to Kodak to redo our postcard. While we were working on the postcard a CM came up and said she was looking for a special girl to give a book to. She said that she found three little girls that she thought would enjoy it. I started crying and she said is it OK? Do you mind? We said no of course not. That was so sweet of her. The book is a beautiful hardback Disney storybook.

We went over to the Wonder Of Life to see The Making Of Me. I love Martin Short and it was really good. I feel like I am missing a day somewhere. I don't remember telling ya'll about riding Figment, seeing Food Rocks and The Lion King Show. We did those one day this week and loved them. That was the first time we had done any of those. After the Making of Me I did Body Wars because I had never done that. Mike had done that before and he wanted me to compare it to Mission Space. He really wants to do Mission Space but is concerned he may get sick because of his motion sickness.

On the way out of the park I said let's just check here for the Kim Possible pin. Knowing I wouldn't find it. I asked the CM and she said sure we have it. I couldn't believe it. I was so excited!!!

We stopped by McDonald's to pick up something to take back to the room. I opted for a salad from Chik-fil-a. We wanted to get back to the room to see Survivor and Friends. I think we were all a little tired after such an awesome day.

Wonderful trip report ~ Thanks for sharing.

Hi
I have a daughter who will be 7 in November and we are going for her birthday this year to Walt Disney World. We have been before but never got the "princess" treatment your little ones recieved. Though she did get to participate in Festival of the Lion King.
Ryleigh loves trains and boats and I was wondering if you knew of anywhere else we can get on and off the train at MK that is accessible? Also was the boat easy to get on to?
Thanks

tigger2on, I hope that ya'll have a wonderful magical time for Ryleigh's birthday. We have never had a problem at all getting on and off the train at MK. You are talking about the MK train that goes around the park right? If so, then it's very accesible. The girls wheelchairs can go right on there.

The Liberty Belle Riverboat is very accessible and very easy to get on and off. It was great!

The only ride we have run into a problem with is Pirates of the Caribbean. They have to transfer so we would have to carry them through the line. There's not really a handicapped accesible line. We may try it again this next time because Mary Elizabeth had never ridden it only Michala.

I bet Ryleigh would enjoy the the transit authority since it's up higher then everything else. The only thing is you would have to carry her up the inclined escalator.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I help in anyway.
