Another Magical Express Questions

Hi...longtime lurker on these boards and I finally have a questions of my own!

We will be travelling to WDW and using Magical Express for the 1st time. I will be flying into MCO after 10 pm with the kids, and know I need to grab my own luggage. Hubby will flying in next am, also taking ME. Was thinking of saving myself some trouble and paying the extra baggage fee to have ME transport hubby's luggage. Problem is that we received 4 luggage tags. Since I can't use mine and the kids tags due to our late arrival, can I put extra tags on hubby's bags even though the date is different? Or should I call and order extra tag for him with correct date?

How much baggage are you talking about? Am I correct in guessing that you and the kids will be bringing 4+ bags and you want to add your husband's bag to that?

We will have 3 bags for the 4 of us. Since I will have the kids and am flying in after 10 pm from the west coast, it will be a alot for me to get myself, 2 bags and 2 kids to ME. Hubby can use the luggage delivery service with his am arrival, so was thinking it would be easier to send the bigger bags with him.

Yes, you can do that and I think it is a good idea and worth the extra baggage fee from the airline. Have what you need for the night in yours and let hubby deal with the rest.

Does the date on the luggage tag matter? Mine and the kids say 08/02 and hubby's says 08/03

Are you starting a new reservation on 8/03??

If not, then it would be fine for DH to use your tags.

If you are starting a new reservation on the 3rd, then no you can't use the 08/02 tags because they are tied to the first reservation.

IF you are starting a new reservation, call DME directly and ask them to send your DH additional tags. You have plenty of time.

IF you are NOT starting a new reservation, then have DH use your tags. Also be honored that someone at reservations actually knew how to customize your DME packet.
