Another Magic band question :)

Hi all - if we get magic bands, does everyone in the party need to have one? Or can we get away with just me (as the reservation owner) having one? For example, can I use my magic band to check everyone in when we arrive at the park and when we check in for a ride? Or does each person need to do check in individually?
Also, does an apple watch work as easily as a magic band?
I'd like to be hands free as possible since I'll be juggling a toddler and don't want to be constantly digging around for my phone. However I'd rather not purchase 4 magic bands if possible!

Each person will need a ticket media to get into a park. It can be a MB, smart watch, smart phone or a plastic ticket card.
If you are using Genie , you too will need the above ticket media.

The only things your band can accomplish for everyone in your MDE group is ride photos and room charges. Well, ride photos if the band is on the ride. So, in that sense you can get by with buying a single band and use one of the free options for the others
