Another lovely day in Oklahoma. . .

I can't imagine leaving the state at this point. DD is sick enough to be miserable. I do not think she will become desperately ill, but She Is Sick.. and we all know how unpredictable this virus is.
She'll probably recover just fine, but you wouldn't relax having that hanging over your head while you're out of town. Also you'd be worried that you're getting sick, I think you made a good decision to stay home. Thanks for the update, all the best to your family.:)

Hugs all around at this extremely alarming time..

My post isn't intended to be funny just brutally honest. This morning following afore hinted occurance^ I had a raw blichy reaction. My dh and I were at the Golden Arches for our coffee, after we ordered I had a meltdown and both dh and I had a Drive through/in car argument over our order! Unfortunately, it did not fall on deaf ears and our order included this..20210107_113326.jpg

We both agree that it was probably mean't by the staff whom all know us well, to be a hug from them in this crazy time.

I just had a shot of adrenaline burst through me. Because I am quarantining until my covid test comes back (2nd test) and am bored out of my skull, I decided to go all the way back as far as I could, to the very "first" listed page on the CB (so, the oldest page, pg 13543). I read a few posts and clicked on the next newer page just as the phone rang. One thing led to another and it was about an hour before I got back to my laptop. I looked at the page that was "up" and the first poster was WillyJ!! I thought "Yeeesssssss!! Willy's back!!!" before realizing I was on page 13,542 of the Community Board. Ah, well. I hope he's well and happy, wherever he's gone to.

AND, now they are escalating again. The reason given is that Toronto, Ontario and surrounding area residents are visiting Niagara.. sigh.

I've stopped looking at the covid stats, it's too much of a roller coaster ride. I'm just wearing a mask, keeping my distance, and waiting for the vaccine. Oh, and washing my hands to the point they're raw.
Yes, just so. We were lucky enough to have a small relaxation to our lock-down that took effect on Monday. We are now able to meet outdoors in groups of up to 6 (only two households though) and after having been completely cut-off from all social contact since November, this feels like a huge win!! party:

Dogs are cute frolicking in the snow Jane! It's so cold here we keep getting reminders to bring pets in (of course they have to go out for a quick potty break.) Temps will be below freezing with some single-digit highs over the next few days.:cold:

The positive news is DW got her first vaccine on the very first day they were available here (end of January) and I get dose #1 on Saturday. I know it won't change much for a while, but at least I won't so stressed out all the time worried about getting sick. And I gotta tell you, with temps around here, wearing a mask feels pretty good when going outside.

Thought I'd drop in and SHARE! lol!!

On one thread I believe started by ronandannette about how we were feeling right then? I posted discouraged.. sigh.

So, to try and lift my spirits on the heels of our 50th Wedding Anniversary Cruise not sailing, to mark it if you will, and to embrace Spring/Summer/Fall I know, I know getting way ahead of myself; We purchased 2 Ebikes! So very excited!!

They arrive this week, and I'll post assembly pictures.

They have a 90km range, are Pedal assist or solely Throttle power. :moped:
