Another lovely day in Oklahoma. . .

Hello, people! Did anyone else have a surprise visit from Snow Miser this weekend? We had a brief one day of winter which included a few hours of snow. Unfortunately, the ground was so warm from early visits by the other Miser brother, AKA Heat, that the snow didn't stick well or last long where it did manage to stick. I think the two brothers struck a compromise because we are now back to spring - - for now. Who knows what tomorrow will bring! And, yes, A Miser Brothers' Christmas is one of my favorite movies. Oh, and thankfully, all of our pretty blooms survived this brief winter visit. I really thought they'd be goners.

Hope you all are doing well. It's always fun to see what everyone is up to.

We're up to about 3 inches of snow with maybe another inch possible. It's doable to me as we have low 40s and rain showers by Friday!!!

We are expecting up to 18 inches over the next 24/48 hours. Be happy to send anyone snowballs who wants them:rotfl::rotfl: I am essential personnel so looking forward to the overtime, already been notified I am staying until Wednesday around 1030pm. Unfortunately they don't allow tequila or S/O of any type at work :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

OMG! Checking in... We are expected to get snow Today - Tomorrow - & Wednesday!!

If you don't hear from me in the interim or after Wednesday please send H E L P!

If we don't hear from you we can always send one of those huskies with a 5th of something tied to his neck!! That'll keep you warm and happy til true help comes!!! :drinking1

Woohoo but I don't know which is worse, the packing or the unpacking.

This entire week is suppose to be hot - all week in the 30s here. In March geeze...

The 30's here too but I kinda think we don't mean the same thing .

Definitely the unpacking hurts more. Just pulled the big suitcases out to start packing the cruise stuff. Only 55 days til sailing but we just added a week before in Ft Lauderdale so 49:dancer::dancer:

Hi TS! I'm not sure what snow miser is but it snowed just a little over the weekend.
Sitting by the pool today...breezy n 81
Gloating is so unbecoming ;) I'd be gloating too if I could.
This week will be busy, our car and household goods are supposed to arrive
It'll be so much more like home when you get your stuff

I think the packing is worse. At least when you're unpacking you get to make an attempt at putting things away where you want them to go.
Actually we do have Canadian border patrol on our programmed phone list
Is that to report all the Americans trying to sneak in?:sunny:
We are in New Mexico on vacay
Por favor no gloating. de las puertas. ;)

Or, a Newfoundland dog to search for the mainland Newfie as I'm known, in my neck of the woods

OK I'm going to embarrass myself in the interest of keeping it light here in ALDIO. I can't tell you the number of times I've looked at your screen name and not been able to decode it. The closest I could come was "senior citizens who love the NFL." I actually thought that was a very clever name choice. Sometime over the past week it suddenly dawned on me (maybe it was the switch to DST?" Oh...they're Newfoundlanders:scratchin So it only took me about 4 years for it to sink in.
The funny thing is that all the crazy acronyms on the boards come second nature to me but the NFLDERS puzzle eluded me till now. I may change my handle to ALDIOJeanYus:sunny:
