Seriously, considering it was felt from Minneapolis down to San Antonio and over to St. Louis, I'm really surprised we didn't get more damage here.

I talked to my friend at the liquor store Saturday and she said they came in expecting a mess but not so much as one bottle was knocked off the shelf.

The only possible upside to a tsunami reaching Oklahoma is that Willy might be the owner of beachfront property.

If WillyJ ends up with beachfront property, Willy World might be raising its prices.

Here in Kansas, another tornado alley state, most everyone has basements. I've seen new construction without basements where they added small concrete shelters to the concrete pad before building the house.
I've had a small tornado touch down a mile from my house, a small one hit my dd's preschool (thankfully overnight so I didn't freak out about her safety) and there have been major ones five to eight miles away.
I was also driving through OK at the time of the last OK City major tornado. Where do you go when you're driving a car??? Major scary. We pulled off and waited for the twisters to pass. OK City flooded after the twister went thru, and we had to leave the interstate. No lights and flooded streets delayed us for over an hour, and we reached our destination 3 hours late.
I made my dh drive thru OK City last time we went through!!

But...I've never seen a tornado!

I've had company all weekend. Kids were with their dad, so I had a party. We drank and played Cards Against Humanity. Had a blast! Then went out last night. I'm tired!! LOL
