Another lovely day in Oklahoma. . .

I want to do something fun this weekend but I don't feel like shopping and everything else I like is outdoors. Any suggestions?

I guess that I'll drink some nice Canadian whiskey ( a rare thing) and watch some movies. It's just too hot in this area!

I hear ya PG; supposed to hit a 100 up here today.

Staying in and drinking sounds like a wise plan.

Sounds like a plan. We had 4 100 degree days in a row this week. We're only supposed to hit 95 today :sunny:

I'm in Nevada so it's a dry heat - woo hoo!!

I went to UNLV for a couple years- dry heat isn't as miserable as humid heat, but it's still hot!

Better stay inside and drink mrsheppo; no sense taking unnecessary risks!!

;)

I have to laugh. The only time I went to Texas it was during the coldest time you ever had. I was at Ameriquest Stadium, it was 21 degrees, of course it was Rangers vs RS. I want to thank the older couple who gave us their field seats.

I went to sleep last night with the constant boom boom boom of fireworks going off. . . and woke up to the constant boom boom boom of a massive and very loud severe thunder storm. :scared1:

And now my head is going boom boom boom.

I'm coffee one shot at it; then I may have to turn to alcohol.

Good morning everyone!!! :dance3:

Good morning everyone!!! :dance3:

I think you need to sit down quietly and drink a slab to forget about your head.

I'm driving to Melbourne to go shoe shopping with my mum today - any excuse ;)

We're under a severe storm warning and flash flood alert. . .

Still better than shoe shopping! :scared1:

;)

Enjoy your day my friend! :)

Gorgeous night & the concert rehearsal getting ready to goimage.jpeg

Good morning everyone!!! :dance3:

I've battened down the hatches and broke open the rum. . . I'll be fine. :D

At least you're consistent. :teeth: :p

I'm hanging the house. We get a 360º show around here. We get a nice show from the Stub Hub center, but we also get shows almost as good from everyone who buys fireworks from Mexico & everywhere outside California. Many many moons ago, one of those landed on our roof & our house caught fire. So, even though we don't have shake shingles anymore, I feel more comfortable hanging around here .... just to make sure.

June gloom has melted into July, so we have pretty cool mornings that warm up to the mid 80's just after noon, so enjoying the weather. :sunny:

Hope you're feeling better, and hope everyone reading this thread is having a good day. :flower:

Of course I'm feeling better Mary Jo; I said I broke out the rum!! ;) :D

Have a great 4th my friend!! :) :) :)

How's Marie, Dan?

I hope her rehab is going as planned. :)
She is doing well, Willy, thanks for asking. She was in the hospital for 5 days, nursing home rehab for 11 days. She came home this past Tuesday, had 2 outpatient PT sessions on Thursday and Saturday, with about 4-5 weeks of PT to go. She is walking well, using a cane for stability, but can walk without it.

Good to hear Dan!!

Tell her I've been thinking of her. . . :)
