another ? looking for discounted Birnbaum books

I had sticker shock when I picked up the Birnbaum for Kids by Kids book at the Disney store I have bought them a few years ago for the girls with my disney club discount and didn't remember them being so expensive.

I found them on amazon for around $10. Has anyone used amazon?

I use Amazon.com a lot and they're very reliable. If you spend over $25 on qualifying purchases, they will ship them for free.

You may also want at look at Half.com. Sellers there have the same book (brand new) for as low as $9.00 plus shipping.

You may also want to try Walmart.com. I recently got a great deal on the 2004 WDW Passporter and The Unofficial Guide to WDW 2004.

Check out Mousesavers.com. She has a heading for books, movies, etc. Mary always knows where to get the books at the best prices. The rest of her website is great as well.

I just ordered The Birnbaum's Disney for Kids 2004 at www.overstock.com for $8.59

I order from them often. They are awesome. Lots of Disney stuff (CD's, books, movies) and they ship qucikly. SHipping is 2.95 for any order (I ordered a huge rug and it only cost me 2.95 to ship it!!). And if youonly order one media item, shipping is only something like 1.40 instead of 2.95. I never order just one thing so I don't remember exactly, but you can check the details!

Just checked...overstock.com beat every walmart price on about 5 Disney books. Trick is they have limited inventory - so they have great prices when they have an item! Shipping is great, too. And you can sometimes get a discount code at www.coupon-codes.net Right now there's a code for $10.00 off $25.00 or more for new customers. Awesome deal!!

thanks for the tip on overstock I was able to buy one but needed two. They are suppose to email me when it comes back in stock.

Glad it helped. You know I was interested in a book once that they said wasn't in stock and they would e-mail when it became available. I figured I'd never hear...and I heard from them in less than 24 hours! Hopefully they'll come through for you. Anyhow - great prices on what they do have. I love shopping there!
