Knotts was the first to do the "Scary Farm" and “Merry Farm” the other parks followed suite.
It's called a "Hard Ticket event." You buy a specific to the event ticket.
Knotts Merry Farm requires NO hard ticket.

It's a HUGE money maker.

It’s included as part of the park’s regular admission. The park is elaborating decorated, they offer a ton of entertainment (everything from Christmas carolers to an ice skating show with Snoppy in the large theater) and holiday themed food and drinks.
