This time it isn't one of my oldies but my youngest one Cliff. He was in a fight or something and we noticed his face was swollen on one side. The next day I saw the bump and when I went to get a closer look it all broke open and it really looks awful. I hope he comes home with some meds. He'd freak if they kept him. He gets himself in some real binds. When he was a kitten he some how jumped into a chest of legos and got stuck in there. He's been cornered on the porch by dogs, got stuck under the house by going through our ductwork (it was rusty and we found out that way that we needed it replaced) when the the heater filter was being changed. He's had birds attack him. He is just plain BAD.

He probably needs antibiotics. Cali has had her leg/paw bitten by other cats a few times. They will get infected if not treated with antibiotics. She gets a shot and pills to take for a week and is then fine.:D

He's home and on 10 days of meds. Tricky part will be keeping him in for a few days. He can open the screens and sneak out at night! None of my others give this problem, they have no desire to be out.

I'm sorry. :( Poor Cliff. He doesn't seem to have the best luck, does he? Poor baby. :)

I hope all goes well. Keep us posted?
