I was watching 60 minutes back in may and in the show George Lucas mentioned that Steven Spielberg was working on another Indy movie is that true? :confused3 :maleficen :jumping1:

My DS keeps asking me when it is coming out. He is a huge fan! Never realized way back in HS that one day ROTLA would be a classic. I just thought it was a cool movie in those days.

At the Lifetime Achievement cermemony for George Lucas, Harrison Ford said he was ready, willing and able to be in the next Indy movie.

Is Harrison Ford not getting a little long in the tooth for that type of movie? :confused3

Thats another use for CGI. They can take out some of the wrinkles.

Yes, he did make mention of that during his speech at the Lifetime Acheivement ceremony. Basically, told those two guys to hurry up and make it before it's too late.

I read somewhere that Nick Cage would have recurring roles based on National Treasure. This would become the next "Indy" type series.

Definitely, he is going to play the mummy, the only thing holding it up is how to give him a speaking role. :teeth:

Yea, then Sean Connery could be the grandfather.

I have also read the Harrison intends on doing all of his own stunts for the new movie....
I believe I also heard that Sean Connery has also agreed to join up

YOu know how the body slows down with age. If he jumps off a building it will take him the entire picture to hit bottom.

I wonder if it will be like the last Star Trek movie ("Insurrection"), where at the climax of the movie, shortly before dispatching the villain, Patrick Stewart says to him "We're getting too old for this". :rotfl2: Truer words were never spoken.

I think it would be a shame to make another Indiana Jones movie after setting a record for the longest ride into the sunset ever filmed, at the end of "The Last Crusade". I always took that as George Lucas' personal guarantee that it was the last Indiana Jones movie.

Come to think of it yah, it could of been the end.
but what about the Young Indiana Jones movies? thoes were made afterward. :confused3
And plus George isn't making it! Steven Spielberg is.
