Another how much spending money thread

We are going in 75 days and this will be the first time with kids! They will be 23 months and we have ddp and are staying in okw 1 bed villa

Any idea how much we should need?

We have dont ddp before when i was pregnant and loved it so im just wondering about the girls as theyare not covered under the plan unless its a buffet

So you need

Tips. You can work this out approx from allears.

Shopping money. Are you a shopper? I can recommend shopping for girls clothes Gymboree especially.

Food for the twins - they should be ok to share a kids meal at TS so $8.50 a time. Are you doing a shop for water/snacks. At that age my DD much preferred snacking to big meals in florida - raisins, those goldfish crackers, banana.

Tolls/petrol.

Excluding shopping you will be fine on $50 a day i'd have thought.

The kids meals are around $5 for a CS and $10 for TS when you add in the tax.

Don't forget plenty of water.

I would have said $50-$75 a day will more than cover you and don't under estimate how much the 'little treats' will add up too

I usually allot 100$ per day, but never spend that much. Last trip we spent 750$ for 8 days and over 200$ of that was stroller rentals. Hope you have a great trip!

I'm the same. I would aim for about $100 a day. Especially when you have to add in tips etc for your DDP. You probably won't spend as much as that everyday, but you could use the rest for spoiling your girls. I love the kids clothes that you can get in the states. So much nicer than what we can buy here.

Yesterdays money spent, breakfast at Shoneys $57 including tip, Drinks in shopping mall $21, icecream whilst shopping $27 and chinese takeout $50.

Forgot to mention there are five of us two adults and 16, 14 and 11 years old, girl at Shoneys charged youngest as a child even though he was just over.
