I haven't stayed at CBR, but I was at CSR just a couple of weeks ago. Before going, I had thought of CSR as a convention resort that was really spread out & had an unappealing theme. Let me say that I've done a 180 since staying there! The resort is AWESOME! The Dig Site with the pyramid pool in as good as any deluxe (except BC/YC's Stormalong Bay). I showed my kids pictures of the Dig Site & they want to stay there instead of the Poly or WL for our trip in Oct. I saw lots of kids while I was there & everyone seemed to be having a great time.
Also, bus service was fabulous! We never waited more than 5 minutes for a bus from the resort. Once, we had to wait about 20 minutes for a bus at DTD to go back to the resort. The buses were never crowded -- many times, my friends & I had the bus to ourselves! I'm used to the values, where it's usually standing room only!
As far as family-friendly activities at the resort, other than the Dig Site, there are also bike rentals, surrey bike rentals, paddle boat rentals, etc...
It's a great resort! I look forward to going back in October!
