Another golf cart thread - about insurance

I hate to do it. We are planning to go to FW May 15-22 and I have just bought my wife a new to us golf cart. I have been throwing around the idea of taking it with us, but am uncertain of the insureance requirements. I see that insurance is needed, But is there a minumum requirment?

We have never been asked for proof of insurance at The Fort, but it is a good idea to have it. Check with your homeowners insurance agent to see if you're covered thru them.

We got insurance on our cart through our auto ins. company. It was under $20/year
