Another Free Childs Ticket Question?

Here is my situation. I will be traveling by myself with my two young boys. I was going to use the current promotion where you get a free childs ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket. My plan was to buy two adult tickets, get two free childs tickets and save the one adult ticket for next summer.

After reading about this promotion, it does not appear my plan will work because it says that "Tickets must be used by December 31, 2006." I thought I had read somewhere on here that the unused tickets would be good until activated at the front gate.

Could someone please shed a little light on this for me?

I am trying to figure this out. My daughter is 12, so we will have an extra child's ticket. It does say that they must be used by Dec. 2006. It also says if the 1st day only is used, the 2nd day will be available for your next visit. We will be going for 2 days, so I could use one child's ticket on each day. I should be left with 1 day on each child's ticket. I also thought I saw somewhere that tickets were good until they were activated. It might be other tickets. ???

It sounds to me like you're talking about 2 different offers. As far as I understand it, there are 3 offers.

• 2 day 2 park with 3 days extra free
• 2 day 2 park with 3 days extra free PLUS free child ticket for each adult ticket purchased
• 2 day 2 park ticket with non-expiring days (ie 2nd day can be used whenever you like) - NO FREE CHILD TICKET WITH THIS DEAL

So, if you are after the non-expiring days, you will not get a free child ticket. If you buy the 2 day 2 park with 3 extra free and free child ticket, the 5 days have to be used consecutively so the ticket will expire on the 5th day.

I am also sure that I saw something saying you did not need to use these tickets before a certain date, however, if Universal are now saying that they must be used before Dec 31st, maybe that has changed.

Has a new restriction been added to this deal? I am referring to the free childs ticket with a paid adult. Do all tickets now need to be used by December 31, 2006?

The tickets don't have an expiration on them. That doesn't mean they might not start adding it to tickets sold later but none of the tickets already sold have any kind of expiration.

It has always been on the website about the expiration but unfortunately or fortunately (in this case), the expiration hasn't been put on the tickets yet.
