Thanks everybody who read and responded to my last posting about fort wilderness. The detail I forgot to mention is that my kids will only be 2 and 4 years old when we go this fall and my husband was thinking that they may be a little too young to really get into the whole "camping" atmosphere; and that it might be a better place to stay the next time we go. Any thoughts on this? Also, we know you can drive right up to your cabin which is very cool, but it seemed like everything might be spread out in such a way that you need to rent a golf cart too? Is there a more preferable area of cabins to stay in? Right now, we're planning on going during regular season which has rates of $269 (I think) a night in October, at what point would special rates through disney or mousesavers come out?
thanks in advance!

You probably want to post this on the Camping boards--Fort Wilderness is different from Villas at Wilderness Lodge which is a DVC resort.

thanks, still new to the boards. Didn't know there was a camping board.

I hope I didn't sound short and scare you off. There is a ton of info on the "Camping at Disney" forum here, including the cabins.
