I'm thinking about a 'short' trip to Dl in Oct. Unless the price of gas goes down to $2.00/gal,:lmao: I'm planning on taking Greyhound. The question is,how far is the bus terminal from the resort? They list the address at 100 W Winston. And,I 'cannot' find my Anaheim map to save my soul.:sad2: Is this 'walkable',or would a 'quick' cab trip be in order??
TIA. darph.

Does this link take you anywhere helpful? I googled "anaheim greyhound" and got to the map. Actually looks fairly close, though I don't nkow what sort of surface streets there are. :)

1.2 miles. Not far, but that's if you make it off the bus. :p Where are you coming from?

Tucson. There 'used' to be weekend redeyes, but I haven't seen any lately.:confused3

Thanks to bumbershoot also. deletedpenquin may be right though, looks a little hinky.

I took Greyhound once, and I saw some of the most frightening people I've ever seen in my life. Have you checked Southwest Airlines? I used to go to school in Arizona and would fly from San Diego to Phoenix R/T for less than $100. I'm sure flying into LA wouldn't be all that much different. Plus, there are those free DLand shuttle buses.

Just a thought.

There are no direct flights from Tucson to SNA,. The closest is Express Jet to Ontario airport ($200.00 r/t).It's that or take a shuttle to Phoenix. Right now it's just in the planning stages.

I'm holding out for $2.00/gal gas.:lmao:

:rotfl: i wish gas would go down to $3.00!!! $2.00 would be heaven!!:rotfl2: anyways, about your walking vs. taxi, someone said it was only 1.2 miles from the station, which would be fine, if you didnt have luggage, but if you did (which you most likely will) i think taxi is much more realistic:thumbsup2

you might want to check into the ART (Anaheim resort tranist) they may have a bus that goes from the Greyhound station to DLR. I know they go from the Amtrack station
