Another Fastpass question

I am very confused about fast passes.
?????
So the average Joe who drove his family of 5 from las vegas and is staying at the Hyatt which he purchased on priceline and bought his disney tickets at the door will not have the option of using fast pass at all?

Anyone with a pass to the park can use the fast pass services at DL and CA.....even if you just buy one at the ticket booth there
We have annual passes and use it all the time......and we've gone with friends that bought passes at the ticket booth and we all used it together!

Anyone can use Fastpass. You insert your park media ticket in the machine, and you'll get your ticket back, plus you'll get a Fastpass ticket telling you what time to return - usually it's an hour, like

Return between 11:55 and 12:55

You can return after the end time without a problem. Most attractions are tied in a system at each park that limits the guest to one Fastpass at a time - or, you can get another Fastpass after the return time of the previous FP has passed. (hope not confusing)

What people are saying is no longer available with the packages is "Multiple Fastpass" where guests with hotel packages could get more than one Fastpass at different attractions at one time. This is not available this year, unless you get a package through AAA.
