Another Fantasmic Question

I am unclear where the seating actual is. Where is the "balcony" seating and "riverside" seating. Where do you actual sit?? I am assuming it is somewhere around POTC????

Dh is feeling that the reserved seating might be a good chose for us, as that is our last night and then we wouldn't have to spend 3 hrs sitting to hold our spot. When you have the reservation, how much before 9 do you have to show up??

Sorry to rehash this Fantasmic thing, but I am so confused!!!

The Balcony is the balcony of the Disney Gallery, above the Royal Street Veranda food counter. Excellent view. Excellent food! Only 13 seats per show.

The Riverside location is a much larger charied seating area and is north of/to the left of the French Market, and between Tower B (a big rising light tower, almost centerstage) and Tower C (the 3rd big rising tower closer to the Haunted Mansion) and not actually river-side.
This seating area is on the 2nd level of the tiered walkways/seating areas. It offers a much closer, but a less impressive view, offers much less impressive food, has many more than 13 seats.
This area is known as the Secondary (overflow) Premium viewing location.

It's still a decent view and the box of goodies is pretty good.
But for the Premium price.. IMO ..the Balcony is the only way to go... and Fantasmic! from there is even more Fantasic!!


...and I think it's preferred if you arrive 30 minutes or so before showtime at the Disneyland Gallery and at the riverside location.
...and if you have ressies or course!
