another FAA certified booster seat

Our DD is almost 27 months old and is very tall for her age.. She is the size of a 3 year old.. We recently purchased the ProAm Simspson Child Booster Seat... The 5 point harness is for 30 - 40 lbs which is certified for FAA. After 40 lbs it has 3 different heights for shoulder/lap built(this is not FAA certified).. It is pricey ($149).. DH got a new seat on EBAY for $112... It is a great seat.. has lots fo room.. Easy to adjust, has a cup holder which dd loves...

Just wanted to throw another our there!

They might have changed the rules, but a few years ago when I brought on our booster seat for dd, they wouldn't let me use it. Had to stow it away. Said they only allowed Car Seats. She was 3 at the time and yes, the seat was certified by FAA. I'ld call the airline and ask if you can use it.

It is a car seat with the 5 point harness system. If you were to use it as an actual booster with a lap and shoulder belt then it would be considered a booster and we would have to stow it away. I plan on keeping her in the 5r point harness for as long as possible.
