Another excuse for another trip??

Wow, my mom just received an e-mail from my uncle who is in Orlando for business and wants to meet up for dinner or something. He was thinking about Clearwater since it is on the West Coast of Florida, like we are, but my mom responded saying she wouldn't mind Orlando since we go rather often *cough cough*

No reply yet, but I can imagine my dad groaning when he finds we may have yet ANOTHER trip...it would be this Sunday probably...and we have a two day trip coming up this Thursday and Friday!!!!

What excuses have you used to go to Universal again?

That's what I always say Sounds good to me! I'll be there probably 45 minutes prior to the show, with my neon yellow seat cushion, so you'll know where to find me. Though I may go to the mic check and so will be there about 75 minutes before the 12:45 show.

Well, I just recently discovered that mic check, like I had mentioned in my most recent trip report (the one for Sept. 5 and 6)...all on accident...and quite a scare that was (in a good way though...).

I went to the mic check yesterday and though my favorite guy wasn't there, one of the guys recognized me from various trips, though I never talked to him before. He was talking to me like for a few minutes, but was on a microphone and I couldn't understand what he said. There was a new kid in the show, looked like he just graduated high school...I swear he looked only 17. He recognized me after I went to all 4 shows...and sat in the exact same spot... "My Spot." And the guy who is in control of the crowds recognized me too...I think he found my enthusiasm amusing...

lol! I wouldn't doubt it...you'd be surprised how many people I've gotten to go to Universal just to see the show...


I should really stop doing that because it's making me have to get there earlier and earlier!!!

I bet it's like "Cheers" when FlyFly goes to see the Ghostbusters. When she walked to the stage, they all yell, "Clare!"

BTW, who wants to see ol' FlyFly post a video of the Ghostbusters meet on 10/17? I dug up RUN DMC's "Ghostbusters" song. I think I can get it down to 8 MB zipped. So what say you?

still not sure if people would be able to make the trip on October 17...especially where you are having the meet on October 19, I know some people would need more than a month's time to plan a trip down to the Orlando area...not everyone is lucky to live as close to the parks as we do

But............doesn't hurt to ask
