I was wondering, is there a cut off time as to when you can arrive at the Park that is having the EMH in the evening?

For instance, if we went to MK on Sunday and decided to "hop" over to MGM for the EEMH, would we have to be there before the 8:30pm closing time to the general public? Or can we get to MGM around 9pm and be allowed to enter and get our bracelets then? :flower:

I don't believe so. There are people with bracelets at the entrance, so you can just show them your key. They just don't usually hand them out prior to 2 hours before the start of the EMH. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

I still don't quite understand.

If the official closing time is 8:30 PM, but EMH will run from 8:30-11:30 PM, can resort guests enter the park anytime between 8:30 and 11:30, or do you have to arrive before the official closing time?

I think guests CAN enter after closing. On the trip reports board a week or two ago, someone was posting about these "extra" hours and I specifically remember them mentioning that right after closing time, people were streaming back in through the front gates as the poster was leaving for the night. It sounds like many resort guests are coming back in just for the extra hours. One post said that the EMH was crazy and the fastpass machines weren't working; another poster reported "walking right onto" all the big rides on the night his group went. Must depend on the night!

colleen costello - Thanks so much for your reply! At least now I have an idea of what to expect in May... :wave2:

If you are a resort guest, you can enter the park for the first time anytime that it is open. If the park closes at 9 to the general public and emh is open until 12, you can enter at 11, 1130 or whenever, get your wirstband at the gate and enjoy emh.

This all sounds so cool... We love the parks at night and NEVER make it there early in the morning, so the late nights will be perfect for our family. We are leaving a week from today and I am so excited I can hardly stand it. The kids are pumped up, too, and the three of us are driving my hubby crazy with all our Mickey talk! :) I will post about EMH when I return.
