Another Edition of Help Hatbox decide: Chef Mic's or Ohana Friends

I need to decide which to keep and which to chuck

Chef Mickey's - Noon
+We are staying at BLT (will this complete the experience?)
+ It's classic
+ Fun for Kids
- We have ate here before
- Food not so good
- I've read brunch is particularly bleh

Ohana Friends Breakfast - Noon
+ Heard Food was good
+ Never eaten here
+ Different characters than Fab 5 w/ Lilo and Stitch
+ Fun for kids
+ I like Poly vibe
+ Family sytle, not dealing with Buffet
- We will have already eaten at Ohana for a dinner earlier in the trip
- A Little less convenient than Chef Mickey's

Help!! Did I miss anything????

I don't think Poly is that much less convenient. It's two stops on the monorail from CR, then two stops back. If you count the monorail within the experience, it's about level.

One thing is that there are more food options at Chef Mickey's, even if they aren't the best. If someone is not hungry for breakfast food anymore by 12:00, they really don't have a choice at 'Ohana.

We've eaten breakfast at both and I would pick Chef Mickey's. Obviously, character meals are inconsistent, but we couldn't get edible food when we went to 'Ohana breakfast. We had 3 rounds of raw sausage, partially cooked eggs, rock hard waffles and rock hard potatoes before we just gave up. Maybe it was a bad morning for them, but at least at Chef Mickey's...there are options...lots of options. And while I've never had brunch there, Chef Mickey's breakfast is significantly better than the grossness we had there at dinner. I thought the brunch was a blending of the two, so that's got to be better than dinner there...I think. LOL

We also did both on a trip where we stayed at the Contemporary. Depending on your plans for the day, Chef Mickey's can be more convenient. We were checking out the day that we had breakfast at 'Ohana, so it did take a bit longer to get back to the room vs. what it would have been if we were just coming from Chef Mickey's...but that really depends on your plans for the day.
