As far as I know, all the Disney restaurants offer kids menus with things like chicken nuggets, hamburgers, fries, etc. I understand that adults can order these items as well - without additional costs.
When our DS was younger we tried to use more of the buffet meals. This worked out well since he was able to eat either from the kids side or the adult side (again, no extra cost since they charge by age).
All the buffets have a large variety of food that is sure to please most people and kids.

There are a few sit downs where the kids meals are little more upscale and not the usual nugget stuff. I know that the Japanees place for one, offers only grill style meals for the children and that Ohana's does not have a children's menu but will get your child something from the Konga cafe.
I have heard of adults ordering off the child's menu too. another option if your DS eats well is to order him the kids meal you want and you order the adult meal he will eat and then just switch.

Try checking out the menus under dinning and see what you might like. We do a lot of mixing and sharing when ordering to allow everyone to get what they want at the best price and with out waisting a lot of food.

Happy Eating.

I have the same problem, so I e-mailed WDW and asked them if teens and adults can order off a child's menu. The answer I received was rather long and wordy, but to get right to the point, they told me they consider people over the age of 12 adults and therefore want you to order off the adult menu. They also said something about calling ahead to let the restaurants know of special dietary needs - but never directly answered my question. I even told them I was willing to pay an adult price for a child's meal - they ignored that completely.

But I have heard of people doing it, and not having any problems. I guess it just depends on the restaurant and who is working there on the day you're there.

I know some of the nicer restaurants will not include the normal chicken nuggets, burgers, etc. on their kids menus. They have nicer items, that most kids will eat. Such as grilled chicken etc.

Most places will have at least one common kid food on their child menu, hot dog, chicken nuggets, PB&J. My daughter really prefers cheeseburgers and these are pretty hard to come by on the kids menus so I will order a regular cheeseburger for her and get the kids meal for myself or order a double burger and we will share it.

Check out the menus at www.wdwig.com and you can see exactly what is offered at each of the restaurants. It makes planning for pickey eaters simpler.
