ANOTHER Double Stroller ? 4 & 2 Yr. Old.

I have no question in my mind that we will be needing a stroller. We're taking a trip next September (our first) and we're bringing DS who will just be 4 in July and DD who will turn 2 that month. I would really like more of a jogging stroller type. Any suggestions?

I was hoping to find one around $200 but a little more wouldn't hurt. We would need storage of course, an umbrella type top & I would like it to be an easy on/off for the kids (no bars keeping them from seating themselves). Also, something that folds up decently. We're driving ourselves and that minivan will be PACKED! lol...

The Baby Jogger City Mini is an ideal double for the parks although I am biased as I've owned BJ strollers for years and do love them. They're durable, easy to push with heavier kids, not as bulky as a full-size double jogger, decent storage and the best sun canopies on the market.

If you don't want to buy one, you can rent one from Orlando Stroller Rentals for around $85 for the week.

We have a Joovy double stroller and we love it. It isn't like your typical double stroller as the rear seat is just a bench seat with a platform to stand on. This allows the older one to be able to jump on and off as they please. We were so thankful for it when we went to Disneyland last year with our DD3and DD8mths.

Definitely the city mini double. I own the single and absolutely LOVE it. I wish they were around 9 yrs ago when I needed a double. Soo easy to push and turn. I tried it out w/ my dd6 40 lbs and 43 inches. She fit in just fine. Easy to turn. The hood is awesome -- large esp for wdw. And the fold is incredible. Just pull up on 2 straps in the seats and the stroller folds. I was showing the teachers at school how it folds and they were totally in awe. Check out the baby jogger website to see a video of the stroller folding. I was going to purchase the Maclaren Techno twin but decided on the city mini. Dh vetoed the double since it would just be for WDW. I use the city mini more than my maclaren. Oh when you fold it = the wheels (all of them) pop off to make it more of a compact fold.

Check out craigslist to see if you can find any there-- beside the citymini also check out the city elite too. I know on the NYC site there are a few for just over $200.

I was going to also say the city mini double....I see the PP's beat me to it. I have used the single city classic jogger, rented it from Orlando Stroller Rentals. My DS is 5 now so we just rent strollers for WDW, and that is the only time he needs it. If I had known earlier, I definitely would have paid the extra bucks and just bought one of them when he was a baby. If I have another child, I will definitely be buying one.
