Ok so I have a questions...
W/DME do they come and get your luggage the day you leave in your room (like they do for the cruise)
Or do you have to drop it off somewhere???

Thanks

There is an Airline Check-in Desk at each hotel. You can drop off your luggage the morning of your flight as well as get your boarding passes. This only works for "participating airlines," so you need to check. I believe the desk is open from 6am to 2pm.

If your airline is not participating, you can store your luggage at Bell Services and then claim it before you get on the ME bus.

You can also get Bell Services to help you take your luggage to the Check In Desk if needed.

Note: Make sure you are ready and WAITING for the ME Bus at the scheduled time. On our July trip we went to pick up guests at the Grand Floridian. The driver only waited about 3 minutes after the pick up time and then drove away. About five minutes later he got a call on his radio saying that a group was waiting to be picked up at the GF. He explained that he was there at the designated time and had waited a few minutes. I was glad he left them and kept everyone else on schedule!!

do they tell you what time to be at the bus stop?
is jet blue a "participating airline"?
thanks!

Yes and yes.
You will get a packet on your doorknob or under your door the day before you leave with departure information.
There's a 'sticky' thread at the top of this forum titled something like "What participating airline really means"; in addition to an explanation, it tells what airlines participate.

DME only covers the tips for inbound luggage delivery. If you call for a bellhop to help you get your bags to the RAC desk you should tip $1-$2 /bag.

On your departure day, be prepared for Bell Services to be VERY busy, and plan accordingly.

You certainly can get help from Bell Services to take your luggage from your room to the resort's main lobby, but there you must call and request this, and in addition there is nothing automatic, you'd still have to take this luggage YOURSELF to the Resort Airline Check-In desk or to the DME bus, whichever applies to you. If you need to take it to the bus, Bell Services can, of course, store it for you until you need it.

Now back to my original point .... Let me give you an example. Our DME bus was scheduled to pick us up at 4:00 p.m. from CBR. Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. So we planned on having our luggage stored while we went out to play for a few hours. At about 10:50 a.m., we called Bell Services to get our luggage and store it. They said they were too busy to come right now, but if we felt comfortable with it, we could leave all the luggage (including carry-ons) in one place inside the resort room near the door, and someone would get it eventually (they also suggested we leave a tip on one of the bags, if we wished). We followed this, and it worked perfectly. At about 3:40 p.m. we asked a Bell Services CM for our luggage out of storage -- the woman brought it to us on a cart, which we were allowed to keep until the luggage was loaded on the bus (we were early).

So what I'm trying to say in 10,000 words or less is, if you're in a rush, don't wait 'til the last minute to call Bell Services to pick up your bags on checkout day.

thank you

(copied from another post) Not sure whether this is still true or other resorts have this, but two years ago the All Stars had a notice saying to allow 45 minutes for the bellhop to retrieve your baggage from daytime storage. (They might accommodate you around this if you had a major glitch coming back from the park.)

So you need to aim to be back at the resort a whole hour before your ME bus departure time as confirmed.

They said that because for both Pop and All-Stars, the luggage service is not an on-demand service, but rather a scheduled (and shared) service. So you might have a 10:30 pick up, but that's when the runner leaves the luggage room. He or she might then go to several rooms, and might not get to yours until 11:00 or so.
