Another Disney Rewards ???? Please clarify

I posted this by accident on the Resorts Board...OOPS Sorry....
I couldn't figure out how to delete it, cancel it, move it or whatever....
So I'm sorry this is a double post...

This is the original post:

I have paid last month's stmt balance in full wh/ is due 4/27 (Fri). BUT...I have a new running balance on my visa.
Do you have to pay charged amounts before they give you the Reward dollars you earn? Will I be able to transfer these ("uppaid charge") Reward dollars to my reward card? I'm debating on "paying ahead" of the stmt to make sure I get ALL of the reward dollars for wh/ we will be due. My stmt date is May2 and we will go to WDW before the stmt date comes around again in June.....so I want to use ALL my rewards in May.
Is that clear as mud?????

balance due date 4/27 stmt bal paid off---
however there are new charges for --stmt ending date 5/2
Going to WDW 5/27----want to use all Reward dollars made prior to May2

You don't have to pay off your balance to be able to use the rewards points. TRUST ME! LOL! I wish my balance was paid off every month, but I'm working towards that. I have a rather high balance, and I'm able to transfer them over, no problem.

You don't earn rewards until the new statement is generated, regardless of when the charges hit or when payment is made.
