Another DIS veteran joins the ranks!

Hey, I just noticed that I've been "promoted" to DIS veteran status. I don't feel like a veteran of ANYTHING yet! I am still new to all of this, and have an awful lot to learn.

It was a great day when I accidentally stumbled across this discussion board. I've learned so much, and everyone is so helpful. What a find! ¨

Congrats. You are now a full member of a select group of special people. I have been involved with this site for a few years. I stumbled on it while preparing for a Christmas visit to WDW. I generally visit daily, particularly when we are planning a trip to WDW. Since we are DVC members, I visit this discussion board frequently. I read far more than I post.
The information and resources available from these boards are amazing. If you ask a question, you get answers and opinions. Both are generally valuable.
The thing that I like the most about this site is using this information when you are on vacation. There have been a couple of instances where my wife or kids had a question or thought that we had a real issue while on vaca at WDW. Because of the info gleamed from site, I knew the answer or solved the problem. "What a guy!"
Enjoy the site and the posters. Let us know what you think - your opinions and views are valuable. I have a lot of respect for the folks that post here. They represent the true spirit of WDW and the DI

Congratulations on your new status! I, too, was very excited reaching the rank of "Veteran" Status. I still have many things to learn and this board has helped me so much. It is fun and very informative. A great bunch of people!
