Another decorating question: Are your ceilings the same color as your walls?

Differnet...... walls are blue (in the main part of the house..... other colors in the rest of the place) ceilings are white everywhere.

Pretty much everything in our house now is white/white. However, I am so hooked on Trading Spaces right now that I have to have colored walls when we finish our addition. Our new family room will have a light tannish color "Sand Fossil" on the walls and a lighter creamy color "Milk Paint" on the ceiling. I will also be using the same color on the walls and ceiling of our new bedroom - "Brandied Pears". I am so excited to get away from the same old white/white everywhere!

Right now all our walls except for dd's bedroom and the main level bathroom are beige and the ceilings are white. We are finding that we don't think we'd ever paint the ceilings other than white because or woodwork is white also and it just really sets the color.

Nope..........Great room and kitchen have lavender/taupe (hard color to describe) walls & white textured cathedral ceilings w/ a tiny bit of glitter in the paint.
DD's bdr has 3 cream walls & 1 gold one.....DS's has all 4 walls painted dark blue....1 bathroom is teal sponge painted & the othe is grey/pink spnge painted. All of those ceilings are white textured.

ceilings are all off white except in the kids rooms, they still have the off white base but the girls room has clouds, a sun, stars and a moon painted on it. the moon and stars are in glow in the dark paint so you can only see them at night

Cam has the stars too all over his room

I admire people who paint ceilings, but since I'm 4'11" tall I am NOT painting a ceiling!!

I don't see the reason, either. I leave mine white and they look fine.

I think I heard Christopher Lowell FAINT!! :earseek:

My ceilings are the same color as the walls, but not by my own decorating talents. We live in an apartment. The walls and ceiling are a very light tannish color, which I think is nicely set off by the stark white baseboards, crown molding, doors, switch plates and other wooden accents.

kitchen is usually a white or cream -- right now the living room looks like an aquarium at night when you're outside looking in -- in shades of aqua from top to bottom :) other rooms run from gray to light green depending on the walls

Ceilings are the small color as the walls ..............and none of my rooms are white.
