another December meet question?

Should we plan an "event" which might involve payment, or should we plan a "get together" as a casual meet with the option of serving ourselves?

I want to come. I just don't know how my family will feel about going. I would hate to say there would be five people at a dessert party and end up with only me.

Anything would be fine with me.

It might be fun to meet at the SSR food court for morning or afternoon coffee (& whatever) - or even an early breakfast would work for us. Would love to see SSR and take a look around.

If people are going to the parks anyway, maybe we can all watch a parade or show together.

I'm OK with a paid event, too.

edited to add: Just read the original thread and see that it looks like the meet will be either the 5th or the 6th so as to accomodate the most. Sorry we'll miss it. Have fun!!

It's probably just going to be me and possibly my DH if Grandma and Grandpa will watch our kids.

I'd prefer something casual and not something like a dessert party. I love the idea of the dessert party, but would rather have a cost free or bring your own type thing.

I do like the idea of meeting at SSR for breakfast or lunch. But I also like the idea of meeting in the afternoon when some of us take park breaks.

DW and I are up for anything, but I lean against a formal fee-based activity. I like the food court idea (at DTD or a DVC resort) where those that want something can buy it, but those that don't can still socialize.

I voted for the casual get together but would also like a more structured plan, like a fireworks or Illuminations cruise. We are open and want to attend whatever is planned.

I think the real issue for this is cost and handling of money reservations, Nanajoyx2.
