another DDP Question

We're going to AKL July 5-10 with a linked reservation. July5-8 and then 8-10.If i'm correct in my thinking if we buy the DDP for the first part of our reservation then we have until midnght of the 4th day which is like the fourth night of our trip even thought it runs into the second linked reservation?

If you have credit left hit the counter service before midnight at stock the fridge with goodies. We always seem to have credits left.
