another crowd question....

DH has agreed to take me to Disney for my birthday!! Well, this means it will be a last minute trip since my B-day is Nov.1st. And that weekend I happen to have a 5 day weekend from work (off oct 30-Nov 3). I was planning on going to WDW, but am considering DLR. I love them both,so I wold be fine with either. Anyway, should I expect big crowds since that is Halloween weekend? We wold be at the parks Thur-Sun, and maybe Mon AM if our flight leaves in the afternoon! Thanks!!

DL is going to be very, very crowded that weekend. Not only is it Halloween, but it is also a 3 day weekend for the Nevada schools due to Nevada Day (state holiday celebrating the founding of the state).

Many people will drive over Thursday afternoon and spend Friday-Sunday (if not Monday as well) at DLR. My family will be among the masses of people heading west that weekend.

Also, with the MTOTP that will close DCA early on Thursday & Friday night, you should expect that DL will be absolutely packed that night. The reports on this board have been that every MTOTP night has had a very adverse effect on the crowd level at DL.
