Another creative celeb baby name...

The other thing I think about - -

I guess Sparrow is an OK name if you're going to be an actor, or a director, or on a TV show - in short, if this kid was going to have a career like his parents, then OK. But how do they know that?! What if he grows up and wants to be a doctor, teacher, lawyer, accountant, etc?! I can see it now - I wonder if his business cards will read S. James Madden and he'll just get rid of the Sparrow altogether.

In any event, they should start socking away money now for this kid's therapy. :rotfl:

If he becomes anything other than a showbiz type, you can be absolutely sure that his business card will read S.James Madden.

Thankfully, since Lionel Ritchie is the kid's grandpa, there is probably already enough $$ for therapy. ;)

They're not thinking of their poor kids when the celebrities give those names (Apple, Sparrow, etc.) I think it would be better to give the kids a "normal" name and then use the "odd" name as a nickname. Especially for boys...cutesy names aren't for boys!

I knew a girl named Pumpkin who eventually used her middle name Denise when she got into the working world.

Pumpkin is even worse than Sparrow. I know two people with odd names...they are: Precious and Windy. It feels very awkward to say their names aloud.
