Hi,

We are in DLP for 3 nights from the 11th of Feb (Sat, Sun & Mon) I have got a breakfast reserved in Fantasyland for the Sunday and Monday morning (they said there wasn’t any space on the Tuesday). We were planning on going to the Studios Park on the Tuesday, is it worth keeping that booking or ditching it and waiting outside the gates of the Studios Park early? What do you think?

Also,

I take it there are no restrictions on what Hotel restaurant you eat in. We are staying in Santa Fe but Hotel Cheyenne’s menu looks better.

I presume you mean which hotel you can eat your evening meal, Stuart. You can go to anyone, even if you are not staying on-site.

Not sure I understand, why could you not go to Studios on Tuesday :confused3

I would keep your reservation for breakfast. The studio park is very small, we did it in half a day in peak season. You can eat at any hotel you want, you can make reservation in the park or at your hotel.

Thanks for the info on the Hotel meals.

Tuesday is its the day we leave and our flight is at 17:20 so we will need to leave the resort early afternoon. I am planning to spend it going to bits we didn’t get a chance to see the previous two days and the stuff we wanted do again. Also tied into that is I had read somewhere that Honey I shrunk the Audience is only on in English on certain days and Tuesday was one of them.

So is queuing outside the Studio gates early worth it?

Stuart

On that day I wouldn't think the Studios would be that busy - however, if you are keen to do everything in the Studios you may want to do a few thinsg earlier in the holiday - when I go with my wife we do Studios in 2 goes and we'd never be able to fit Moteurs Action, Animagique, Cinemagique, Disney Cinema Parade, Studio Tram Tour, Armageddon, Flying Carpets and all the other fun things in Studios in half a day - that doesn't even take into consideration Rock 'n' Roller Coaster which we don't go on. If you want to do everything and maybe eat too, there's easily a day's worth of attractions and shows in Disney Studios - there's so much going on, from the Cine Folies in Studio One to the Streetmosphere fun that travels the park.

When I was there in 2004, the Honey I shrunk the audience had headphones and there are many language choices to choose from. They dubbed the screen into French, so if you were not wearing the head phones you would hear French. I think the park is small when comparing it to MGM in Florida, I believe the only attraction we did not do was Rock n Roller Coaster, because we were intersted in going on things that were unique to France.

HISTA (to my knowledge) always plays in French. Other languages are available via headphones, only available in the back section of the theatre.

One comment - we found the french language track to be far too loud, making it difficult to hear other languages (English in our case) via the headphones.

No, it does change. We definitely saw it in English when we went on Thursday, and thinking back I can never remember having to wear headphones for it. Must have been lucky!!

Rock 'n Roller Coaster is somewhat unique to France. The theming inside our ride is a lot better than the dark hole at MGM. :rotfl2:
