Another coffee pot question

I have read that the Beach Club rooms have no coffee pots available, NO EXCEPTIONS! Is this true? Where did you get your morning fix? As it seems to be a big hotel, is it a hike to get the coffee and bring it back to the room?

Since no one seems to know the answer -- have you tried calling the resort directly?

I called the Wilderness Lodge a couple of weeks ago and got the answer to my coffee question directly from the source.

I'm not even sure if the Beach Club even has a refillable mug program -- probably not. But I could be wrong.

Nonetheless -- hope you find the answer to your question.

Where can I get morning coffee? Coffee makers are no longer offered in Standard Rooms, only in the Deluxe Rooms. In those rooms, packets of coffee are include that will make about 3 mugs from the pot. You may request a coffee pot but need to supply your own coffee. Complimentary coffee is offered from 6:30am to 7:30am in the Rip Tide Lounge. (12/00) You can also go to Beaches and Cream for early morning coffee (as early as 6:30.am.). Coffee here ($1.25/cup) has FREE REFILLS until 10:30 AM. The Free Refill policy is NOT Posted @ Beaches and Cream. I found out by going back with the same cup I had gotten earlier for a second cup of coffee, and the CM told me about it. (Thanks Ron) You can also get quick breakfast munchies (including bagels & muffins) from Beaches and Cream and take those to your room. If you're not satisfied with the pastries at Beaches and Cream, take a walk over to the Boardwalk Bakery -- I found these pastries much higher in quality than what is served at Beaches and Cream. Need coffee earlier? Call Room Service.

You can ask for a coffee maker at the BC-mousekeeping will bring it up for you. If you don't bring your own coffee, you can pickup the prepackaged coffee/filter packs at the store on BW. Then you just need to worry about cream and sugar (we drink ours black so not a prob for us).

Our latest trip to YC-we asked for a coffeemaker and when they brought it to our room they also brought along 6 (enough for one week's worth of morning coffee)-3-4 cup prepackaged coffee/filter packs and it had sugar, whitener, and stir sticks included. After the 6 were gone, you could request more from mousekeeping but we were told they would charge us for them.
