Another car worries thread

I'm really bothered about the car we've choosen

We've booked a type V vehicle (there are only 4 of us - 2 adults, 2 children) and luggage but when we booked all we could remember was that when we were in a regular saloon last time we were so low down we felt quite indimidated. I think this is too big - do you reckon a type W - int SUV would be better?

All I can go by is what we usually book. which is a 7 seater mini van -dodge caravan. And there is only 3 of us, we like it as there is so much space and you dont feel cramped like you would do in an intermediate. Also its not really that huge to be honest, because even i never had any problems driving it.
we also like it because you higher up than a normal car!1

I agree with Jeanette and we usually book a minivan too, that car looks fine to me and I would stick with that personally.

If they are correct about the cars - V being an Uplander and W a Trailblazer, then the W is the larger of the two cars IMHO.

I think a V should be fine for your size of party.

We've booked ourselves a Group W SUV for our next trip (2 adults + 2 children aged 11 and 9).

I've used Avis before and the last group W car we had (it was a Mitsubishi I think) was about the size of a Honda CRV. Plenty big enough!

What do you feel comfortable driving at home? I book the same size of car as I drive here as it feels more familiar even if its slightly larger then we need on holiday.
