Another BTMRR accident at DL

Our local news just reported that yet another derailment occured on the ride and three people were hurt.

This is a favorite ride at WDW. Now, I'm starting to wonder if it's safe or is this a DL specific problem.

I think I heard that one rammed into a train that was loading/unloading. Can't even imagine HOW that would happen!

This is terrible news on two fronts: I'm sorry for the guests who were injured, and I'm afraid we're going to lose the attraction from the parks. BTMR has been operating incident free at Disney parks for decades . What is going on at DLR?

Sounds like there will be a lot of "retraining" going on. Seems to me they could computerize the switching operation & save themselves the "human error" factor.

It would be a shame to lose this attraction. I've never been to DL, so I can't say I've ridden on that particular coaster, but I love the one at WDW. Never felt the least bit unsafe on it.

That's really scary. I go to Disneyland every year and just went in late May. I hope everyone was ok.
