Another bounceback question

Can you book a bounceback offer with room only and then add the dining and tickets later if you want to?

Can you book a split stay?

I booked the bounce back offer while on my visit this past Nov. We were able to make it a package with tickets & dining (although I plan on skipping the dining plan next time). As far as a split stay I have no idea, sorry.

I know we DISers talk a lot about split stays (love them!), but Disney doesn't actually book split stays as such - they book it as two separate reservations with different res numbers, etc.

So if you want to switch resorts during your BB you would just have to make two separate BB reservations. They would have to be at the resorts/dates listed for the BB offer (based on availability). Also keep in mind, for a room only BB you'll have to deposit one nights stay for each reservation.

Yes, but they would have to refund monies paid on the room only to your credit card, then rebill your credit card for the pkg. They can move monies from a room only to another room only or from a pkg to another pkg, but not from a room only to a pkg. The confirmation number for a room only is different than a confirmation number for a pkg. A room only has like 12 digits (123456789012), whereas a pkg confirmation is 8 digits long with a couple of letters in it (1AB34567). They also have different rules. For a room only, you just have to pay a one night's deposit and the balance is due at check in. You can also make changes up until I think a week before check in with no fees. A pkg you must pay a $200.00 deposit and the balance is due 45 days out. If you make any changes during the 45 day period they can charge you a change fee (although if the price goes up they usually waive the change fee). You can add the DDP up until 72 hours out, but if you add it within the 45 days then the full amount is due immediately. Also there is some kind of administrative fee if you make any changes to a pkg within a week of check in. I think it's like $25.00 maybe.
