Another BOG Pre-Order Question

I am getting ready to place our order. Two will be ordering the Croque Monsieur, but they would like the béchamel sauce on the side. I don't see anywhere online to request this. Should we leave it off and then can they request some when they get to the restaurant?

I don't believe any such sauce is served with this sandwich in Florida, not anytime we have had it anyway. This sauce was mentioned in regards to another sandwich served in Disneyland. The only think we got as far as sauce for ketchup for the French fries.

The bechamel sauce has been on it each time we have ordered it. I love it, DS gets his without. I would go with your plan, preorder it without the bechamel. When they deliver your food to the table, ask if it's possible to get some on the side. All they can do is say no. Hope you enjoy your BOG lunch,! It's our favorite since dinner went to prix fixed menu.

I agree it is too expensive to take my tooooooo picky 11 year old to now. I love the dinner menu too. A great excuse for you and DH to have a date night at BOG! Have a great trip......

I did exactly this in February of this year, ordered the sandwich without the bechamel, and they gladly brought some over after bringing out our food when I asked, so you shouldn't have any trouble at all. I actually asked the CM when confirming our order before seating and she was the one to tell me to ask the server for it after they brought out the food.

Perhaps you can ask the CM at the register who processes the payment to notate it...I’ve confirmed a few requests that way in the past and it was very easy.

We did the same thing but unfortunately it took 20 minutes for them to bring the sauce after we received the sandwiches! They brought us a whole gravy bowl full of it but by then we had given up and eaten most of them without sauce. We find they tend to be "stingy" with the sauce, so you needn't worry about them putting too much on. Next time we will scrape some off if needed, rather than wait for more sauce to be brought to our table.

Oh no. That's not good. Well, one in our party has decided to order it with the sauce, and one has decided to leave it off. We will ask when we get there, but if we don't get it, I don't think it will be the end of the world. The one ordering it without likes things EXTREMELY bland, so I'm sure she would be fine if it doesn't ever show.
